Shop Feature: Skinny Macaque, Enter For A Giveaway!

 Hello Everyone,
   This weeks  shop feature is Skinny Macaque  by Vy Chau. She specializes in making handmade leather bags, wallets, cellphone cases and so much more. Also she is  from Vietnam. I actually find her hand made items lovely and  very cute design. So here are a  few things  to get to know her right here. 1. How did you come up with the Name of your Shop?
The name of my shop come from my Hungarian friend. Actually it is my nick name, they call me "Maki", in Hungarian "Maki" means "Monkey". So Macaque is Monkey, is me^^. And skinny is leather, right? I think that it is a nice name^^


2. Tell us a little bit about your shop and what you think makes it unique?
All my products are 100% handmade, hand choose, hand cut and hand stitch. They are special because they are made by me with all my patient, love and passion and when you receive my product, it is not only a product, it is a part of mine.

3. What is your favorite item at the store and why?
I love all products in my shop, so all of them are my favorite but if i have to choose only one, then i choose "men wallet", just because i received very nice feedback from a customer for my "men wallet"

4. What inspires create your products?
My first product is a passport wallet which i gave to my friend as a present, i made it with all my love and when it finished, it look so perfect and when my friend receive it, she is very happy. I love to see how much everyone feel happy when they receive handmade products by me, then i would like to share them to everyone.

7. What advice can you give for other sellers out there for their shop?
I am very new here so i have not enough experiences to share or advice to other sellers, i just try to do my best, make the best quality products, love my customers.

8. What is your Favorite Food?
Hotpot is my favorite, i never feel boring to get it^^ and my friends also call me "BBQ girl", so that is my favorite

9. Describe us one positive event in your life in your life that you felt was a miracle to you or that you knew the Universe was there watching over you.
That is long time ago, 4 years ago. When i lost my job, feel tired with the life but i could not come back home because my family is very poor, they also need my help. I was on the way to find a new job but it was not easy. At that time i could not communicate in English as well. And i met my boss, he offered me a great job with good salary which i had to go back school for my english. One year later, i had my first trip to Europe for Brussels seafood show, then Boston seafood. In two years i went one time to American and 3 times to Europe. For a Vietnamese woman, i am very lucky.

10. What is your favorite Vacation spot and why?
I had a motorbike trip to Mekong Delta in last vacation (only 2 months ago) and that is my favorite vacation. I rode the motorbike myself and we spent all 10 days in Mekong. I love the people there, they are so kind so friendly, i love fruit there with Durian, Mango, Mango Steak, Quava,... everything is very fresh. I love the beach in Phu Quoc Island where i saw beautiful sunset and could see my legs, my toes inside the seawater, also the baby crabs. I love it very much.
