Wow, I have come a long way from really getting my work out there. For the longest time, I have worked really hard to try to build my own brand but never knew how to really go about it. I have learned everything by myself I mean seriously I look back and go wow in just over a year I finaly get my blogger site right, learn how to promote my Facebook page correct, learn photoshop, how to use newsletters efficiently, twittering and now PsychicJoelle.com. Just when I felt stuck, I can say now that I don't feel stuck anymore! It's just an achievement one after the other in such a good way that I feel so good that I learned everything on my own!
It's only been a little over a year and I realized that I have created a brand for myself in a good way. Come to think of it I noticed that I can shine with my own work rather than relying on others to help me. It sure takes longer to do the work I need to do but gosh if there is one thing that I have learned in my life that is to be your own best friend and do things on your own. You are your own support always! I have found that I achieve greater results by doing a lot of things on my own than to ask people for help. Not that its bad to get help from others, but people give the run around a lot and I know most people don't realize that some things really need immediate attention. They just let it sit there without response lol. So the one thing I have learned is to do it yourself. In one way or another, I have always found a way to do things that I would never have imagined that I could be so successful in doing.
Hence this is why Psychic Joelle. com took so long for it come up. I truly was going to get help in turning this website into my shop. A friend had promised to help me way back then but that never fell through. Should I be upset? Well the old me would have been upset, but the new me told myself... "well wait a minute! I did everything by myself so how hard could it be to work a WordPress site!" needless to say I am just so happy about what I come up with for the site.
On Psychic Joelle, the hardest part was turning it into the estore. That was a challenge, actually no matter how I tried doing it, it didn't work out. Just the items were nowhere near the quality of how my Storenvy and Etsy was displaying. I also realize that its just too much work to try to run a third store. And with my Storenvy site that had a new theme, it actually was a blessing. It just gave that nice boutique feel to it so it just means less work for me.
In fact just after debating, I realized that Psychic Joelle should just be an about me page.To top it off, I wanted it to look clean and professional, have a soft clean feel to it. So after so much looking at themes and really working with what I was given, I finally was able to figure out how to link all my work together. Needless to say everything is finally done. I pretty much have links for everything, a history about Joie Joelle Creations, my work as psychic and so forth. It's been a long route but i feel really good about it and I am just glad to see that everything fell into place the way it was meant to be. Spirit really helped me with my work so I thank the universe for what how much i have achieved all this time.
